Thank You Glow-ers 💗

I’m 41 and had a perfect baby boy when I was 39. We did 6 months of clomid, several IUI cycles, got pregnant, miscarried, and then got pregnant naturally the month after the miscarriage. I was so thankful for him after three years of TTC and so I believed he was all that was meant to be. Now he’s 2 and I can’t stop thinking about a second. (Am I greedy??) I had so much trouble with my first that I’m afraid it will be the same and I’ll be heartbroken if I am too hopeful.

The fertility process was very emotionally trying, as I’m sure many of you know: having to adjust work hours (& subsequently manage bitterness from colleagues who didn’t understand the accommodations) not to mention the shots, the mood swings, the hope and crushing disappointment with each negative pregnancy test. SO, we decided this time to try naturally with acupuncture and ovulation predictor tests. We are putting this in the hands of the universe, the fates, God, or whatever force guides us. Knowing we already have one beautiful boy takes some of the pressure off I guess, which I hope helps since I believe stress is the root of all evil (and the cause of many fertility problems!).

I wanted to voice my heart here since I’m amazed at what a loving and supportive community exists in Glow. I so appreciate all of you who keep my hopes and spirits lifted. May babies galore be in all our futures!!
