17 trying to get an apartment

so my brother & his gf went to this apartment yesterday to put in their app . they told me rent is $25-100 it goes off 30% of your income , everything included except electricity . and you can be 17 as long as you have a baby . wepl i have a baby so i went to apply. and was wondering if i can apply for any other apartment that requires you to be 18 can i apply now so they can have my stuff on file until my 18th bday which is april or do they want you to apply at 18
