Does anyone else get a ichy/scratchy vagina ever? (Usually before periods)

I usually do after my period. I have no idea why.

The only time my vagina itches is when I have a yeast infection.

Yes every time I think it might be because of the build up of dead cells, bacteria and blood makes it itchy. What I do usually is take a warm shower, wash with vaginal soap( no not douching I've asked my gyno and its actually good to do that) after that I shave that baby. After that it usually goes away and I feel great.
