what to do what to do

so this guy I went out with a couple months ago and had a great time.. disappeared off of the face of the planet and he just recently resurfaced.. he sent me a message apologizing for doing that ,he said that his work was stressful (which I believe) and they sent him overseas .. and now he's doing better because he quit.. he wants to go out again.. what do you guys suggest I do.. I told him I'll think about it .. honestly he's one of the better guys I've met in awhile but I don't want to seem like it was ok to just disappear
