Confused

Have any one heard of Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma infection? I’m a little confused about the “infection” a few days ago I got a STD/STI testing done and I came back positive for Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma. I never heard of it but upon reading it it was saying something about Gonorrhea and chlamydia. But it also say it’s NOT AN STI. Smh. I’m going to call my gyn tomorrow to get her to explain to me more about it, but I’m going to put a link on the page so you all can read about it and help me understand better.

It also said this as well

“Most reproductive endocrinologists routinely obtain samples from the cervix (cervical cultures) to assess their patients for gonorrhea, chlamydia, ureaplasma, mycoplasma, and other bacterial infections. ... Ureaplasma and mycoplasma are bacteria that can be commonly found in the reproductive tract of both men and women.”
