Are thing/knee high socks suitable to wear?

Basically they keep your legs warm. 🤷‍♀️ if I'm bored or wearing jeans then wearing socks is next best thing. But theres this stigma around them. Like sexual? But they are just warmer than nothing!

Yes there is a stigma. People relate it to thigh highs. It ridiculous. Men sexualize socks, like they sexualize eating a banana. Weird 😒

I wear knee high socks with shorts and sneakers all the time, no one cares. I keep the pornier thigh high ones for the house though.

Sexual stigma? Long socks were popular in the 80's, don't think they made a fashion come back. But if you like how they protect you from the elements (which is the purpose of clothing), then wear them.

I’ve been wearing high socks and skirts / dresses to work for the past three weeks because I’m over leggings and it’s cold where I am - (also haven’t shaved my legs in 2 months lol) - if it’s acceptable for work/an office I feel like it’s acceptable for anything 🤷🏻‍♀️
