Both parents have to sign off before embryo transfer, so you’d need him to sign off before transferring one on your own. If you’re already pregnant, it’ll become a matter of custody when baby is born. When we did IVF there was a disclaimer about embryos and divorce and a whole lot of legal stuff that I honestly didn’t read. But it’s not as simple as just popping one in and raising on your own.

I think there would be massive legal complications. I doubt they would implant the embryo without both parents’ consent

Wait what? I guess it depends on why you're divorcing, but it doesn't seem fair to cut the baby's father out of its life. That's how I read it at least, so I'm not sure if that's how you intended it

They have to sign off on every embryo transferred so it might not even get to that point. If already pregnant it would be a normal custody situation

Noone knows what your relationship is like only you, if your strong enough to raise the baby do it. If you want to reconcile do that. You need to listen to yourself and what you want :) all the best 🌷
