Etsy has alot of things you can personalize, like cups, necklaces, wallets, clothes, mugs, bracelets, plates, lighters, etc.
At Walmart or Target or department stores like that, they usually sell really nice gift baskets full of gourmet chocolates, popcorns, or Christmas desserts (because who doesn't like gift baskets?). They also sell diy hot cocoa kits that are ready to make. I think a cute stuffed animal with Christmas candies would be good to give too.
If you're still stumped on what to gift him, literally just buy a gift card to a nice store and let him buy what he likes xD
