"You can't just hold your baby all the time!"Watch me. 👀 Babies spend their entire existence at the beginning literally surrounded by love, and skin to skin is SO good for them. If it makes them happy and I want to cuddle them, that's my business.

I heard this so many times when my daughter was a baby lol.. I have been a stay at home mom since my daughters birth and she is always up under me, never spends a minute away from me. She’s 1 now & ppl still say “she will be fine without you for a little while” so I totally understand lol

When my mom asks me if my daughter is hungry when she just ate. This happens more times than i can count😂When people ask my 3 year old "is that your baby sister?". Hes heard that so many times in 5 weeks. Ask him about himself so its not All about his sister. When people stare at me as if im too young to have two children. I hate the looks of pity. yes. Im 24 with a 3 year old and 5 week old. Both have the same father. We are engaged. We are good. Move along. Lol When people feel then need to touch my kids. Big no no. The typical new baby advice "sleep when baby sleeps. Dont hold them too much." And finally breast is best. Yes. It is. But formula is also a great way to feed your baby and its no one else's business but yours how your baby eats. Feed your babies and keep them and yourself happy. Ive seen both sides. My son was formula fed and my daughter is currently breast fed. It may change. And if it does, the only important thing to me is that she is being fed, shes growing and healthy. Sorry, i ranted lol

My MIL always giving me advice and weird suggestions... if it was good advice it would be on thing, but it's bad advice and then she gets offended I don't take it. Like when I was stressed about my baby cluster feeding and wondering if she was getting enough, she suggested I put her on formula so I can "live a balanced life" and have time to go to the gym and go out. LOL. She was FOUR WEEKS old at the time. First of all, I have no time or money for that crap. Secondly, I WANT to be with my baby all the time, not tearing up the town lol. And then when I am cluster feeding, which seems to happen every week, she is always like "are you sure she's hungry?!" And she tries to soothe her for like an hour... yes, I'm sure she is hungry. That's why she is rooting lol.

When people tell me to put cereal in my baby’s bottle to help him sleep longer at night. No thanks! He’s not even 3 months and doesn’t need to sleep all night. Also, when people try to peek at him while he’s in his stroller. For some reason that really annoys me lol. So when we’re in public, I keep a canopy blanket over his car seat

Me: Expresses sadness/worry/frustration about a situation with my child.Other person: Shares a story of when their child or SO was perfect, clearly meant not to be helpful, but to brag. It just reminds me that some people cannot “read the room” for the life of them and are so far up their own asses that they can’t come up for air. I’ve gotten to where I will say “that is a nice story about your perfect world but it’s entirely unhelpful in my situation...”

Some more of my pet peeves are : When my daughter waves or says hi to someone and they don’t wave back lolWhen people stare at me like a crazy woman for changing my daughter in public because there isn’t a bathroom around When people touch my child without askingWhen people don’t tell their older kids to be careful around the little ones When parents have their face glued to their phone and aren’t watching their children When people ask me if my daughter is mine following with the question how old are youWhen people say my daughter is small in weight for her age but tall When people compare their child to mine
