Could I have endometriosis?

I used to have really normal periods and would shed uterine lining. Now, they are lighter with less cramps and I never shed any lining. What’s going on? The doctors tell me it’s normal but to me it seems weird. I also have pain during intercourse now.

Before I started my birth control I would get my period every few months but I never knew when. I had been off the pill for a year and sometimes I would get my period twice in a month or skip a few months. They can prescribe you a pill that will help you get your period. I was explained the only thing that would be hard is knowing when I would be ovulating because I wouldn't get my period. I had pain during intercourse here and there but now I do not anymore. I would call your doctor to talk about it they will be able to help!

Endometriosis usually consists of much heavier and painful periods, so it's probably not that. My periods have lightened up as I got older too so that's normal. Not sure about the pain during sex though
