This is getting to me.

I️ don’t feel angry at all, I️ honestly just feel sad.

I️ have a stepdaughter who is 16 years old. Her dad and I have a one year old together. Her mom and her dad went their separate ways when she was about 2 years old. Her mom also has a 1 year old, she’s a few months older than my daughter. So she has two new sisters from each parent around the same age. My husband and I️ both noticed that she doenst really Pay attention to our daughter and at first I️ just thought it was because she’s just a grumpy teenager who is always mad. She’s not going to want to play with a baby. But later we started to noticed how everytime we would drop her off at her moms she would immediately go get her little sister and even come show her off to us. She talks to her, holds her, kisses her. But she does none of that with our daughter. In fact it’s like a chore to hold her or watch her when we ask. Yeah, there’s times where she comes and randomly kisses Lexi (my daughter) lexi likes to me with her a lot but she’ll come and leave her with me if lexi follows her around. Her dad spoke up and talked to her about what we saw and she got defensive and said she saw her other sister the most. LIES. She is one week win us, one week with her mom so we share 50/50 custody. Her other sister doenst talk but she says she does. She says that’s why she doenst really talk to lexi. But honestly the only difference about both babies is that her moms daughters is walking. She gets mad everytime her dad says something about not showing any love to our daughter. For example, today lexi was following her into her room and as she noticed she grabbed my daughter and put her in the hallway and closed the door. Now, I️ know you guys might think she doesn’t like me, but her and I️ got along perfectly well and she’s pretty comfortable around me. So I️ don’t know why what’s the deal. Any advice ?
