Weight Maintenance - 16:3 weeks pregnant.

I’m starting to feel afraid that I may be gaining weight too fast. So I’m wondering how y’all control your weight while pregnant. I’m 5’6” and my prepregnancy weight was about 148lbs. My stomach was flat, I’m very heavy chested, but I looked average weight. Wore size 2 in pants.

I am now 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant and approximately 157lbs. Picture below.. first pic on left was at 12 weeks, right pic is currently. So you can see most of my weight gain is going to my belly.

I’m constantly hungry ALL THE TIME. I feel like if I continue to be starving all the time, I’m going to blow up. I don’t really eat unhealthy besides maybe one or two meals a week.. but I don’t want to cause problems during pregnancy if I gain too much. Plus I don’t want to have to really struggle after baby to lose everything again.

As for working out, my body is soooo sore. I’m on my feet 8 hours, 4/5 days a week for work and that alone causes extreme back and hip pain. I already see a chiropractor and get a massage weekly. I’m going to try yoga if I get it okayed with Dr tomorrow.
