Hi Everyone!

I was told by my doctor today that I most likely won't be able to have an epidural with my second delivery because I developed a fever, post epidural, with my first. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon with their first delivery? If so, what did you do for your second birth plan? How did it go?

My medical notes did not mention any infections, so my doctor believes it was a reaction to the epidural itself. I am so scared to have this baby naturally. My first was delivered naturally because they had to wean me off the epidural and I am terrified to go through all of that again! I mean, I will do whatever I have to do, but if any of you have had a similar experience and could share what you did, it would make me feel more prepared and a little less anxious. Thank you!
