Fibroadenoma

Pebbles

About 2 years ago I found a lump on my right breast and immediately made a Doctors appointment. They took an ultrasound and told me it was fibroadenosis, went back for my check up 6 months later and it was much bigger so they sent me for a biopsy. Test results come back non cancerous and they told me it wasn't fibroadenosis it was fibroadenoma. They tried to remove the entire tumor during the biopsy but it was too deep for them to remove it. It now about the size of a Tablespoon and is super annoying and

non stop hurts. Just read recently that women with fibroadenoma have a high risk of breast cancer do to the dense breast tissue. Breast cancer does run in my biological father's side of the family and my mother has now found a lump on her. They have said it's nothing to worry about but they also told me at first that it wouldn't grow. Just not sure if I should remove it or not... They have told me that even if I do I will always have fibroadenoma and they is a chance of it coming back. I now have to start getting mammograms in my early 20s. Should I get a 2nd opinion maybe? Has anyone else has anything like this?
