Gifts for a one year old

I’m a nanny and I’ve been with the little boy since he was 2 months old. His birthday is December 12th, and then there’s Christmas. I know this child so well but for the life of me can’t figure out what to get a baby for a gift. Does anyone have suggestions for Christmas and the birthday gift. He’s just your typical 1 year old - walks, eats, causes chaos lol. I’m at a loss 🤷🏻‍♀️
