Dementia/ Alzheimer's Support

A close family member of mine was diagnosed with dementia around 2 years ago. It has gotten worse and my family is having a really hard time with it. She has gotten violent, doesn't eat (only drinks alcohol), doesn't take her medicine and has accused everyone but me in my family of wrong doings to her. She is a completely different person, I know it's the disease and it's not her but it's hurting our hearts. We are reaching out to get more help but I was wondering if anyone has personally gone through this and has any advice. Any advice on how to talk to them? Deal with this emotionally? Anything...
