Traveling

Am

Okay so my husband got his vacation days picked so we will be traveling to the States in April, our daughter will be almost 8 months. I have a few questions on traveling for those that have done plane trips with their babies.

1) did you take a stroller with you? Or did you wear baby through airport? Our trip is two weeks and I can get a stroller from family if I need one when there, but I was wondering what was easier for travel on the airport.

2) how did you travel with them on the plane? We can either take an over night direct flight, or a daytime one and connect to our final destination. If we do a daytime flight, which I’m more inclined I do as we will be able to sleep on a bed that night, I’m less inclined to worry about a bassinet. Did you just keep your kids in your laps?

3) we have to take a cab/Uber to the airport, so that means taking a car seat. Did you check yours? Just the base? What?

So many logistics to fly now and I have to start planning now. Thanks for your advice!
