Anybody leak colostrum yet?

So the other day I’m sitting in the lounge with my hubby and my mom, enjoying our morning coffee (decaf for me of course) and all of a sudden I feel this wet thing on my palm. So I think “I probably messed some coffee on myself” Look down at my top and I have two huge wet patches by my nipples 😂 Count me gobsmacked! I didn’t think it happened this early? I’m 23 weeks. Anybody else experience this yet or earlier?

No and I think it’s so weird that I never leak before having my babies. With my son I was terrified it meant I couldn’t BF because all these other moms did lol and then I exclusively BF until he was 7 months and now this one nothing yet! I even squeezed the other day to see if any came out lol and nothin. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Yep! started at 19 weeks with my son, this go round it hasn't been bad until this past week (I'm 25.5 currently) sleeping with sports bra and probably going to break out the breast pads soon

Yes I started very early, maybe 14-15 weeks. It freaked me out! I'm 25 weeks now and still leaking. Do not try to express it. Just let it happen

It’s normal to start leaking as early as 15 weeks. It’s also normal not to leak at all until your mature milk comes in a few days after delivery. I’m still breastfeeding, and I haven’t leaked at all. I didn’t leak before delivery with my first, and had no real breast changes in pregnancy, and still had plenty of milk for him. The only suggestion I have - if you’re leaking a lot, consider some Avent breast shields to catch some of that milk and freeze it. If you’re planning to breastfeed, and baby has any struggles in those first few days, even having an ounce (or even less) of colostrum in the freezer can be so helpful. Anything you can collect can help you avoid supplementing with formula or donor milk, and just give baby your colostrum, which really is liquid gold!

My husband sucks on them and it comes out lolb since about 20 weeks but this is baby no. 4 for me lol
