When will you tell your work?

Newly pregnant moms, when do you plan on telling your work/boss/HR that you are expecting? I have a desk job and have read that most tell their boss after the 3 month mark. I’m just curious as to when you all plan on doing it. 
I know my work gives maternity leave, but I’m not sure how much or at what percentage of pay. I work for a really good company, but am nervous about it all. 
Any stories on your experiences you’d like to share?

There’s no certain time when you should/shouldn’t tell your manager. I wanted to wait till i was over 3months but my morning sickness kicked in at 6weeks so i had no choice but to tell them. Tell them when you think its right.

I told my job I had at the time once I was 14 weeks as I was very sick all the time. I ended up getting a new job once I was 20 weeks, I did not tell that job until about 26 weeks I was pregnant as I work by myself they never saw me.

Desk job too but I'm pretty new so I'm nervous. 13 weeks tomorrow so I'll tell them next week after genetic tests!

I told my boss at 5 weeks, I was so sick with horrible morning sickness I had no choice. 
You don’t need to tell them straight away & if you think your going to be treated differently talk to your HR team.

I'm lucky and good friends with my HR lady so she was the first to know! But I don't plan on telling my work until I make it known to everyone else, probably between 10 and 12 weeks depending in how my 9 week ultrasound goes. but I also haven't gotten sick yet so hoping that stays away. otherwise I may be mentioning it earlier then expected.

I told my job two days after I found out (at 4 weeks). I am 17 weeks now and they have been supportive and very flexible with my schedule. The bad part is that it's a new job (ironicly, I conceived the day I started working there) so I don't qualify for maternity pay, FMLA, or short term disability.

what kind of work do you do? if its labor intensive, outdoors, or deals with chemicals, you will want to let them know ASAP to ensure accommodations can be made.
