Abuse Perspective

My boyfriend and i were in a serious argument.... he probably woke up 10 minutes before it began (his ex wife called him at 10 at night) after words shared, he got in my face, and i shoved him away saying get out of my face! and he grabbed my arm super hard and said no, and said what he had to say 2 inches or less from my face. is that considered abuse? aggression? normal? idk...
