don't ever give up hope... 10yrs natural miracle.

Heather • 34yr old Married Mama of 2 girls

I just wanted to say to all of you woman who have doubts of ever becoming pregnant naturally.. it took me a 10yr wait to naturally become pregnant. no treatments. I was 18 when me and my hubby got married (so was he. h.s. sweethearts.). and I went to go see a specialist about my painful periods and he said they would have to do a Endoscopy through my bellybutton for an exploratory surgery to see if I had Endometriosis. which my mother's Mum had. I was scheduled to have it and they gave me the reminder call ahead of time and I had to explain to them (because I had totally forgotten to call them and explain..) that I no longer will be needing the surgery because I'm pregnant! The nurse was like "what oh wow congrats! I'm not sure how that's possible but congrats!" I was like, "well I'm pretty sure I know how it's possible but.." lol. And I had a happy healthy pregnancy! Leona (a girl) Weighed 8lbs 1oz. 22inches long. now I looked like I was growing a rocket in my tiny petite frame lol but healthy is key. then my 2nd daughter I had naturally took 4yrs to have naturally. she gave me a little bit of trouble (like how she does in life now lol) I started bleeding like a period bleeding at about 14weeks along.. they said I have the start of placenta privia when the placenta starts to fall down to the bottom.. that was scary. it eventually grew normal and I delivered a 7.lb 8oz baby girl again named her LilyRose. also on top of being truly blessed with healthy babies they got so comfy they didn't want to come out on time till a week past there due date. both!! And both times they had to break my water and mucus plug. and the second one I had plitocin. both 14hrs of pushing. and both times when I had the epidural my left leg stayed asleep and I couldn't lift it to push. I snored through my first birth because they gave me waaay to much of the drug that makes you sleep a bit they put in the i.v. drip before the epidural. even when sitting up pushing holding onto a rail in front to push I still snored. they had to keep waking me up to push. I hated that hospital. my daughter choked on my blood coming out cuz Dr. didn't turn her face down quick enough coming out so the next 3 days she kept vomiting my blood up and choking on it bad. the nursing never came to check on her after I kept pushing the button. that hospital very bad experience. I'll never go there again. they only cared about the money. Elmhurst hospital in IL. also known as edwards if you see it on billboards in Florida. Overall my point is Don't ever give up hope!!! Ever!! I have 2 beautiful girls to be thankful for! the oldest is now 8yrs old and the younger one is 3yrs old. (p.s. the 2nd one is always double trouble. she makes mama want to become a Wine'o lol) Stay strong ladies!
