How many presents do you usually get ur kids?

For Christmas how many presents do you usually try to or get your kids.

I would say a lot, but they aren’t all like big presents. I wrap everything individually because kids just like unwrapping stuff. I’ll even wrap up like a tooth brush, or a box of their favorite fruit snacks, a 99 cent book, pack of stickers, a pair of socks, etc. So it looks like a lot, but most of it is just a bunch of little random things, a lot of which I would have bought for him anyways because he needs the stuff.

We spend $100-$150 a kid. Usually 5-7 gifts if we really go with what they ask for.

Once I was older my parents told me how much they were going to spend on gifts. Every year it was the same $200. When you 11/12 You can get a fair amount of toys and stuff but once your into your teens and stop playing  with toys and just want diskmans later a first generation iPod nano your Christmas list gets pretty short. One year I had one item a guitar... My mom felt bad because I knew what I was getting because we picked it out before Christmas. That was the year I wrapped my own present... just for fun. I love LOVE wrapping presents

A lot. I get crap every year because I give them crazy amounts to unwrap. I mean, lots of packages, but really it's clothes, toiletries, shoes, extra school supplies, etc. Then one "big" item that they really wanted, a couple smaller toys, some books, and new art supplies (crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc.) So, it's a lot of stuff, but primarily I just use it as an excuse to catch them up on their needs.

I don't count. this is our daughter's second Christmas. she won't remember it, but I don't count. I keep buying stuff, along the way,  up till Christmas. .then I end up with a big pile of stuff to wrap. last year us adults did Secret Santa game with a max of 25 bucks for  a present. we got big families between my husband and I,  so our daughter got lots of presents from both families AND then some more from us. this year so far, if I had to estimate,  I would say she's got at least 20 presents from just myself and my husband. I'm sure our families will also buy her stuff. I don't do Christmas shopping.  I buy stuff as I go along, especially if I see them on sale. example- I found burts bees two piece 18 months pjs, this past august, on sale for 10 bucks (usually 25 bucks), so even though she was not even near 18 months back then  (she's 14 months now), I bought 10 of them.  she already fits in 18 months now, so they will be perfect as Christmas present. same with educational toys.. I buy stuff all year round and when Christmas comes, I got them all brand new in my closet. I do the same with my husband. we usually do secret Santa with our families. it's fun, u only spend 25 bucks and u have a great time playing.  the tradition says, kids get their presents as usual, and can only join secret Santa once they reach 16.
