Follicle count day 6 ivf?

Question

I’ve just finished my first week of stimming on gonal f. Just did my scan and doc counted 4 follicles on each side total 8, ranging from sizes 9 to 13. Is this ok? Is it too little? Too small?? I have no idea and don’t want to go down google hole..! They seem very few but I don’t want to feel down. I’m trying to stay positive! 
I’m 36 and don’t know my estrogen levels yet!

I had 8 after 6 days.  At the end ended up with 6 eggs retrieved.  14 weeks now with chromosomaly healthy baby from that cycle.  
I think you’re doing great.   Try to relax.  Get acupuncture if you’re not doing it already.  Good luck mamma :-)

Eight follicles is pretty good.  Did they say how long they think you'll be stimming for?  Sometimes a few extra follicles  pop up later in the stim cycle and could reach maturity depending on how much longer you stim for.  They won't want to over mature the current eight though by over stimming.   
My 1st cycle (Gonal 300), I only had 4 follicles at the point you're at so we decided to convert to an IUI.  Cycle 2 we upped the Gonal to 450 and had 8 follicles with 6 eggs recovered but I'm a little older and the quality wasn't great.  Cycle 3 we change protocols and I took supplements to improve egg quality and we got 13 follicles and 9 mature eggs and I'm now 20w with a singleton.   Fingers crossed that you've got a miracle or a few in your current batch!

Each person is different.  After four doses I only had two follicles >10mm.  48 hours later I had seven.  You’re doing well and you’ll see them grow quickly.  ER will be scheduled before you know it!  Good luck.

i - after lots of ivf (dont want to get into it 😁) did it with 4 ... there's ladies that get pregnant with one ( following natural cycle ivf) so you are good :) it takes only one !!! quality way better than quantity if you ask me !!!!! kisses and loads of luck - babydust ya 🎀
