What do I do?

Okay so I recently got with this guy called Nathan we talked for about five months and then dated for one, he broke up with me the other day but it saying he’s not ready for this because he always forgets to text me or invite me out places and he says he just wants to go back to talking so we still go to each other house and hang out but I’ve asked so many time when you are ready or if you ever be ready would we get back together because my fear is that we are gonna go through this and then his going to leave.

He says he just picked the wrong time to date me and that this hurts n plays him too but every time I asked these questions he just says I don’t know, what do I do? Has anyone else been in this situation and got back together?
