Looking for advice Plz be nice.

So I have been talking to this guy for a few weeks and things have been going well up until a few days ago. We where hanging out and just talking about life when he suddenly kissed me it wasn’t weird and I kissed him back it was actually really nice and we needed up staying up cuddling and watching the sun come up. But the next day we hardly spoke at all and he would reply hrs later I thought oh he is probably just busy but usually he tells me if he is busy. Then today we organised to hang out and I showed up and he said he couldn’t hang as he was getting in trouble from his parents. So he was texting me saying how sorry he was but he still wants to hang out. I don’t know what to think but he also keeps asking me to meet his grandma so a part of me makes me think he wants something more than friends but another part of me feels like he dosnt wanna talk to me anymore am I just over thinking this or could something weird be going on. Plz any advice would help I’m new to the whole dating thing again.
