Advice for 6 month old naps
My son is 6 1/2 months old and never napped well unless I slept next to him. I know, I enabled this behavior. But when you’re the only one that gets up with the baby and does everything for the baby and your husband is always working and you are a stay at home mom, you tend to just break down and give in and let him sleep with you in order to get extra sleep. Now that he’s full fledged crawling, he has to be in his crib at all times while sleeping. So I give him a bottle and rock him to sleep while he eats and by the time he’s finished the bottle, he’s passed out, so I place him in the crib...he wakes up almost every time. If he doesn’t, then it won’t be long before he does. I can’t even shower unless I put him in a walker in the bathroom with me guys. Idk what to do anymore. I have no time off from him. If I do, it’s to pump and then I’m back on duty again. I know I should have expected this but I didn’t expect my husband having to be gone for 10 weeks while my son was learning to be mobile and detest his naps. I’ve tried to let him cry it out but after 10 minutes I can’t do it and he begins to crawl around in the crib and he tries to pull himself up on the rails and one time he did and fell back and nearly hit his head on the railing. Idk what to do anymore.
