Was it unprofessional of my instructor?

I’m in my 4th semester of a 2 year Nursing program.

It’s our last week of clinical and I was emailed by Skills Lab because of being referred to by my instructor. I don’t know which instructor it is, but I’m quite offended. I don’t see anything wrong with my Skills because nothing has been brought up to my attention during clinical. I always thought they should tell you before they refer you to talk to see if there was any misunderstandings or misconception.

I find it discouraging because now I feel incompetent, but I don’t know where.
