But a gift or don’t buy a gift?

Okay so I’ve been dating this guy for about a month now and Christmas is coming up I bought him a gift however he has a daughter (but the baby mama is a bit crazy) and I really wanted to get her something but I wasn’t going to put my name on it or anything so he can just say it was from a friend or aunt .. but idk how he would feel about it but he seems open to the idea of gift giving .. what do u think I should do?
