Do people smell their underwear/discharge?

I've noticed my vulva has a different smell for different days (not sure when in particular of my cycle).

Sometimes it just smells like, well, discharge I guess. Some days it's slightly but not terribly bitter? But other days it's kind of appealing. I can sometimes smell the aroma without directly smelling my underwear.

I esp notice that there's this same particular smell when I wear a pad when I'm not having my period (ie: I'm waiting for my period around predicted time). This one is particularly appealing to me for some reason? Idk.

This is all probably weird, and no i don't go off smelling my own underwear as a hobby. But I'm sure some of the musky smell is due to biological reasons. These are just my observations. Anyone else notice something similar?
