How is I️t not seeing your little one for 8+ hours?

I’ve been lucky enough to be a stay at home mom to my almost two year old, and just focus on him and school. But I️ just got offered this job working with the disabled I️t 8-5pm. Everyday, weekends off. Idk if I️ even want to take I️t, I️t breaks my heart knowing I’ll be leaving him for that long. At least now I️ don’t have school tuesdays and Thursdays and we get to stay home and cuddle and play all day. But that will change 😩

I'm out of the house for work 12-14hrs a day 4-6 days a week depending on my oncall schedule and I have been since before I had my first. We now have a 2yr old and an 8 month old. It sucks somedays but I know I have to provide for my family and it makes the time I have with them that much more special.

I am due in March, I work 12 hours shifts 4 days in a row. My work is 1 hour away so my day turns into a long 14 hour day. I have no idea how I will do it... but I guess like top commenter said you get used to it... I hope 😭

You get used to it.  And then when they are home with you all day you miss the peace and quiet 😂
