Very light period, ttc
Hi looking for advice.
I have a 2 and a half year old daughter who was conceived after 1 month of trying.
We have been ttc for number 2 for 18months. I had a miscarriage in April.
I didn’t know I was pregnant until after the miscarriage. My period came late and was fairly light but assuming my period came I just moved on.
2 weeks later I starting bleeding very heavily and cramping, did a test which was positive. GP did blood test to check hcg levels which were too low so suggested miscarriage, it took nearly 5 weeks for me to get a negative test again, hcg levels took a long time to go down. I had 21 day progesterone blood test in October which suggested I was ovulating.
Gp suggesting to keep trying another 3 months and if still nothing may consider referral to fertility clinic. We have been using preseed and clear blue ovulation tests, we dtd all through out my “fertile window”
My period came on time late Saturday night, there, only really needing to use pads last 2 days and now nothing today.
My period is normally very heavy and painful using the largest size of tampons every few hours and lasts for 5 days.
I have done several hpt which are all negative.
I am feeling very fatigued today but it could be in my head. I tested using the 6 days before period clear blue test, is it unlikely that I could be pregnant?
I don’t know what it going on with my periods. I feel so lucky to have my daughter but I think it makes it so much harder, when she was so easy to conceive, we are having such difficulty this time.
Thank you for your advice in advance
Xx
