I’ve been talking to this guy for a month and we’ve had sex. I got my STD results back and I came back negative for everything, but positive for HVS 1 (type 1 herpes) i don’t believe i was flared up when we had sex, but it’s very nerve wracking to tell him please help, and how should i tel him?

You can have HSV 1 on your genitals also. Like me. I got it from my boyfriend at the time 10years ago from him having a herpe/coldsore on his mouth and giving me oral, so it does happen. It is just very less severe than HSV 2. I had 2 bumps and then 6months later had 1 bump and nothing since. My doc says i may never see it again. If you have HSV 1 and it is on your lip. You don’t really need to tell him. Just don’t kiss him or give him oral if you get one on your lip. That is it.

You can literally get Hsv1 from drinking after someone so its not that big of a deal but you should still tell him so he knows that he is at risk of also contracting it.
