If there is a bit of an age gap (say, 10 years or so) and he likes you to call him daddy. Is this a red flag for something else? I feel weird about it...

If something makes you feel weird, stop. Figure out why it makes you uncomfortable, discuss it with your partner, and then don't do it. 
I call my husband Daddy. And when I've said something ridiculous he stalks em across the room and asks, "what did you just say to me, little girl?" Some people would be offended. It makes me want to strip down to nothing. Shrug

I don't think it's weird in general, but you know the guy. Sometimes it's one of those things you've got to go with your gut on. There are a few guys where looking back if they had wanted me to call them daddy it would've been a huge red flag for me, but for others I think it's just a harmless kink.

I mean it's a common link, but anything you have a gut feeling about is a flag. Talk about why u feel weird and it he isn't open to talk or change or if you keep getting bad vibes get out. Anything can be a red flag for your personal situation, or it could just be something u need to get used to, just listen to ur gut

I won't call ANY man I'm sleeping with daddy. I suppose that will change when the baby gets here but only when talking to the baby or the baby is in the room
