Just been diagnosed...advice?

Okay so yesterday I was officially diagnosed with PCOS after scans and tests.
I think I’m okay with it - its not a major inconvenience to me yet as I am only 17. 
I was just wondering what people had been prescribed to help treat it?

Diagnosed a month ago was told either provera, bc, or metformin. I chose birth control as I’m not trying to get prego yet!

I was just diagnosed too. I choose to go on birth control because I don’t want to have kids just yet. My doctor gave me a few options, the pill, and iud, tracking my periods and taking something if one doesn’t come within 8 weeks of my last one, or coming in to get shots. She also suggested improving my diet & exercise because even a small about of weight loss can help. I’ve also been reading online a lot about how certain foods can make it worse or help ease the symptoms.
