Our Rainbow babygirl Ariyah is here😍💗..

💗Ariyah Lee Fleming💗 Born on December 8th, 2017 @2:28am.. 7lbs 7oz & 20in long.. healthy & happy babygirl🙌🏼😍🌈👶🏽🎀..

Was due on December 5th..had induction scheduled for December 12th but babygirl had other plans which I’m so glad she did!

On December 7th I woke up around 4am with some contractions. They were more like cramps with a lot of tightening Braxton Hicks. They were around 10min apart from that time til about 730am they went to about 8min at the least when I went back to sleep. Woke back up at 1030 & started timing again.. now from then til maybe 1230 they ranged from 8-6min apart. Then after they kept getting closer to 5min apart lasting at least 1min (usually time to go in). But I still wasn’t too sure as I am a FTM & they weren’t really painful or unbearable just uncomfortable cramping & a lot of tightness!

So finally around 3pm I called the Doc to see what they would say & they advised me to come in to check me out at least. Got to hospital around 4pm & checked me right away. Baby was doin good & I was still at about 2cm dilated & 60%eff. (Same as last 2-3weeks) They asked me to walk around for about an hour then they’d check on me again.. hour passed & I was still at the same nothing has changed😩 I thought to myself man I really don’t want to go home with no baby or have to come back right away.. She told me she’d see what my doc said & get back to me..well she came back & thank God my Doc is sooo understanding & asked me to stay a couple more hours since I lived 30min away & didn’t want me to get sent home then have to come rush back again if something happened🙌🏼 Now I just have to keep moving around as that’s what helped my contractions get more intense. About another half hour or so of doing that my Doc decided to come in & check me for herself. Well ladies this was the best news yet! She said I now was at about 3-4cm & 80%effaced!! So she said well let’s admit you now & when I hit 5cm they would break my water🙌🏼yesss!! We will have a babygirl soon in our arms!

Now times are getting harder to track as everything now seemed to happen so fast & was just so happy & excited to finally get to meet our babygirl! But I believe it was now about 9pm when I finally hit 5cm & Doc broke my water.. let me tell you that was the weirdest feeling ever & felt so gross. I kept saying I feel like I’m nonstop peeing the bed it felt like soo much! & ohh man after that the contractions definitely got real & were killer 😳 I had my mind set on having a natural birth so that’s what I was trying my hardest to do! Well as the contractions got more & more intense & closer they mentioned maybe doing just a med through my iv just to help me relax a little during them so not necessarily for the pain mainly between them..at first I declined but then caved for that only! It did help for in between for sure I felt like I was goin to fall asleep until another contraction would start then trust me that definitely woke me back up & still hurt a lot! My mom was laughing because I was squeezing my husbands hand so hard he looked like he was goin to cry..whooops lol...

Now it’s getting closer as she kept checking I was slowly progressing 5-6cm..6-7... & so on.. contractions are definitely getting much much closer & painful. I turned into one of tho set of bitchy mamas goin through labor telling my husband & mom to shut up at points..telling the nurses no I needed to push..or I’m trying to breathe but sometimes it’s hard as ever to do when the contractions come! Buuut I still refused to get the epidural!!!! They mentioned babygirl was leaning more towards bottom so needed me to lay on my side for a little bit to help even everything out I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ until I kept telling them no I need to push now as I felt soo much pressure like I had to poop which I knew that just meant baby was ready to come!

Finally the pushing begins! Deep breathes first then started to push...😳..I think I pushed a good 10times but only for about 30min tops?! Every push definitely got more & more intense & so much harder I just wanted her out. I’d feel like I felt her coming out then I couldn’t push anymore & it was like she sucked back in😐.. kept going though & yup it happened..I pooped..🤦🏻‍♀️.. of course they didn’t say anything but from my moms reaction & how it felt I knew I did. Oh well it happens right...moving on lol... a couple more pushes babygirl finally came! All I kept hearing everyone say was she has so much hair! Yess🙌🏼🙌🏼 haha ..but anyway.. apparently her shoulder got stuck a little bit but I kept pushing & they got her out safely💗 && even better..I didn’t tear!!that honestly was my biggest fear..Then they put her on me as soon as they pulled her out😍 all the pain I did have then just left my mind..my babygirl is finally here! I did it! & with no epidural! We are so happy & Blessed!!💕🙏🏼 December 8th 2:28am Baby Ariyah Lee Fleming was Born💗

Everyone is doing great!❤️ Babygirls tests all came back normal & great!! & other than cramping (which of course is normal especially breastfeeding) & my butt/tailbone is bruised I’m guessing from her favoring that way in labor & the nurses rubbing that spot when I was on my side to help, Mama is doin great! 🤗
