Savoring Child Free Moments

I can't wait to have our baby... in August. It's a long time away, but if all goes well it will be here sooner than I realize.

Last night I said to my husband, "We're going to be PARENTS. We'll never be cool again!" He laughed and told me to go to bed.

It's true though. We'll never be cool again, we can't sleep in for another decade, we can't pick up and go on vacation, we can't do this, we can't do that, bla bla bla.

We will be able to hold a little human that we made with our hearts, and she or he will bring us such joy.

But in the meantime I'm going to continue laying in bed for an hour after I wake up and do absolutely nothing on weekends if I don't want to.
