In theory I tho k it’s great... in practice I worry that a rapist would be much more likely to kill their victim if this was used... especially as they would be in very close proximity and it would be easy to lash out

what happens to a woman after she uses this device and the man is injured? Rape usually isn’t about sex, it’s about power, violence. He’s still got fists, a gun, family? Also, people can be raped orally and anally as well as vaginally.

As sad as it is that we have come to this, we'd be foolish to think that women can be helped by just talking to men about it. Especially in other countries. It will take generations before all the bad is undone. I'm not going to walk around acting like nothing would ever happen to me. It's so much better to be prepared for anything happening.

It just makes me sad that this sort of thing even needs to exist, but I do understand how horrific the rape culture is in some parts of the world so as much as in an ideal world we would teach boys and men to just not rape in reality it’s not a simple fix so these women need a way to protect themselves until attitudes change.

I hope this is a thing. I also hope it cuts deep enough to cause them to bleed out. This is not just in other countries. With the Brock Turner thing recently happening, I would say hell, sell this to college girls. The whole, "I thought she wanted it" debate would change. As women we have to protect ourselves. I make sure I have good friends when I go out to have drinks (in my 20s we always had one at the table watching the drinks, and would trade off watch duty. Different now in my 30s, where I go to a small bar I have know for years to have cocktails and conversation). I also have a 40 Cal sub compact Springfield XD and my conceal carry license, and a taser if am going somewhere a gun is inappropriate to have. It is sad that we are at this point, but we cannot put our heads in the sand and hope for better days. If this is real, I hope they improve it with a tazer add on that starts if it is disturbed....

Anyone believe this? 
Will the rapist not become more violent once Rape-aXe attach to him? 
Responses from convicted rapists who have seen RX, claim “they would know they have been ‘tagged’ ( and therefore facing incarceration) and would not escalate the crime from rape to additional assault or murder charges.”
What would happen if  woman is gang-raped?
