I would like help from both believers and agnostics please!!

I was raised to be Christian and it's something I have always struggled with. it has never felt right. I have so many unanswered questions and things just don't add up to me. I just don't understand how one religion can be the true religion when there are so many. how do you know you're right? especially when your neighbor of another faith is so sure THEY are right? and why must good people who do good things go to hell just because they don't believe or were never given the knowledge or were never taught a certain religion in a way that makes it seem worth following? (for example, what if a person is raised to believe a certain faith but those around them are horrible people, why should they follow that religion, and how could a merciful and just God hold that against them for wanting nothing to do with that?) I don't need sanctimonious answers or "I just know" or even quotes from different religious texts. I want opinions and answers that have come from your heart and your own experiences in life. thank you all for reading this and helping out a very concerned and confused individual. anon because i don't need any crap from people who "thought i was a good christian woman". xoxo
