Snooping through my messenger

Hi, so my ex and I broke up 3 months ago. We started to work on things a little before thanksgiving but we have since gone no contact again. We haven't talked in almost two weeks, but he sent me two messages out of the blue last Wednesday about not finishing a credit card application I started. I figured it was an excuse to talk to me, so I ignored him. He has also been logging into my messenger every day since we stopped talking. My question is does it sound like he still cares about me? Or am I reading to much into it?
