Baby shower conflict 😩

So my mom and I got into a huge argument today because I feel I should have SOME say in what my baby shower is like. I understand she is the one throwing it but I still feel my opinion matters. She wants everything to be a surprise and for me to not know anything but I completely disagree. Am I wrong in feeling this way?

An example is she wants my boyfriends mom to buy and do her own invites for his side of the family and her to buy whatever invites and such for my side. I told her I wanted the same invites for everyone since it’s a combined shower, and she got upset because I’m making things so difficult.
