Friends Wedding 1 month after birth?

So this is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what to expect. My friend is getting married 3 hours away so it’s kinda a destination wedding. Will I be able to go with a one month old baby? Would you leave your baby to attend something like this or will I be completely exhausted and not wanting to leave my baby ?

I took my 4 week old son to my sisters wedding that was several hours away. I’d also had a third degree tear and extensive stitches. We had a great time and he slept most of it. So if you’re comfortable then go for it!

I don’t think I can bring the baby. So I would have to get a sitter and since it’s 3 hours away I would have to spend the night there.

My cousin is having a wedding next year too and my baby will be 1 months. She told me I can bring the baby but I think I’ll just find a sitter. It won’t hurt the baby if you are gone for a few hours

I'd take the baby with me.  My baby is almost a month old and the thought of leaving her with someone else makes me very anxious, and I don't have enough milk frozen to leave her.  A quick tip, if you do take Bub.  Start feeding baby (if BF) or paci /bottle right before the ceremony starts.  It'll help keep baby quiet so there's no random outbursts during the vows.

I think you should plan on going but if you don’t feel like it when it comes to it that’s ok. I was still bleeding very heavily at 4 weeks pp and my son ate every 3 hours round the clock at that age too.

i think u should be fine. bring the baby and feed it. bring noise cancellation headphones and a baby carrier.
my brother in law's wedding is in Australia 5.5 weeks after my due date!! ah I'm so cared! 30 hours of travel. we def got cancellation insurance in case I change my mind.
