He cried 😭😭😍

33 weeks pregnant.

Its 1:30 am. My Husband and i were sitting down fairly close to each other. My leg was over his, he put his arm around me as i did with him and both watching The Office (a show). He had his hand on my thigh tapping it when Baby girl started to kick and move around so abruptly. (Mind you Its our first child, our first time being parents, in our first apartment, our first everything. )

And for the first time, he snuggled up to me, giving me kisses and hugs, and then i suddenly hear sniffles and feel wet. My heart just dropped and melted. My husband cried.

I think in his mind at the time, his princess is coming and its his. ( i know ours but it is his baby) all i wanted to do was hold him and kiss him. He’s never really opened up like this before. He literally had tears coming down his eyes.

It was random, but so meaningful. In my mind, all i could think about meeting my baby girl for the first time and the look on his face when he holds her and looks at her.

For those who have husbands that do little or maybe not as much as you’d like them too and think you’re too paranoid. Time goes by and as your belly grows, he grows. Give him time and space, he will get there. Especially first time fathers.
