I am fortunate enough to work in a career I love. I am currently a government contractor. I applied to become a government employee at the agency I work at last June. I finally got contacted for an interview in January, I will be four months pregnant. By the average length of time the hiring process takes, I will be due around the time I could actually start this new job (yay government efficiency!) Should I mention this concern in the interview? I don’t want to show up to a new shop, and immediately leave for six to eight weeks of maternity.
