I was out shopping with my husband and mother in law. There was a crack in the cement and I tripped and fell. My first instinct as I fell was to protect my little guy from the fall. I landed really hard, and kneed myself. I went to the doctors office and they listened to my little one’s heartbeat with the Doppler and it was a strong 147! The doctor was very pleased because he said that usually with trauma the baby is stressed and the HR is in the 180-190s. But our little guy seemed happy and HR was normal. They sent me for a Rhogam workup just in case of a bleed. Thanking God for protecting my baby boy!
