Language to describe a c-section?
I was diagnosed with Vasa Previa at 20 weeks (reconfirmed at 28 and 32 weeks) so a scheduled c-section was put on the books for me at 34 weeks to save my son's life. I have no qualms about the fact that we had a c-section because it was necessary and the whole procedure was very smooth and comfortable for me, however I also don't feel like I "gave birth" per se. My son was born, but I'm wondering how others describe a c-section birth?
