When did you first hear Baby's heartbeat on a Doppler? I have my first OB appt this week and I am wondering if we will be able to hear it. I'll be just over 10 weeks

I can tell by the poll answers there is some confusion. 
8 weeks yes you hear baby at vaginal ultrasound. 10 weeks yes again with a vaginal ultrasound. 
For a Doppler that’s hand held and uses gel on the stomach (not a ultrasound!) you can hear heartbeat with it from 12 weeks and after.

It depends. My first 3 pregnancies they could hear it around 10-11 weeks. This pregnancy he looked and looked but couldn't find it. Sent me to ultrasound just in case because I have a history of missed miscarriage  (in addition to my other 4 healthy pregnancies) and everything was fine. Baby was moving a lot so they said when they're tiny and not still they can't always find it that early.
