Date to Work Christmas Party?

So there’s this guy I just met and went on a date with last week. We both said we want to get to know each other more! I have a work Christmas party tomorrow and kind of want to invite him to go with me. I asked my sister for her opinion and she thinks it might be weird, it would be more okay if we’ve been on a lot of dates. I see where she’s coming from, but I want more opinions. :) would it be weird to ask him to go with me when we’ve only been on one date?

I didn’t invite him to go to my work Christmas party. But was this him wanting me to go to his work’s Christmas party with him? 😂

I assumed he just wanted to do something after his work party, but then he said “so your unavailable then?” And that confused me! I guess I’ll wait to see what he says back but it’s taking him a while to text back and I’m just sitting here all confused! Lol
