How much/often do you drink alcohol while EBF?

alcohol while EBF?" /> I've only just started drinking a little bit of wine or spirits every so often, never more than a glass because I'm too nervous to lol. I can't find a clear answer on what's safe while EBF but I'm curious what others do.

look on kellymom.com there's a bunch of articles on breastfeeding and drinking. basically 1 or 2 drinks an hour is fine. just make sure to stay hydrated since alcohol can dehydrate you!

You never need to pump and dump! If you're good to drive, you're good to BF!!! Alcohol cycles out of your breastmilk just like your bloodstream. So nurse baby, have your drink and by the time Baby is ready to nurse again, you'll probably be fine! 💕💕

I’m not a heavy drinker anyway, but a glass of wine here and there and I’m good. If there is an occasion when I have more I don’t pump and dump unless absolutely necessary. If I can drive, then I can nurse

I feed her from the breast then have a bottle of wine and give her a bottle for her feeds during the night until I'm safe to breastfeed again. 
There's charts online that tell you how many hours to wait based on your height, weight and what you've drank. 
I wouldn't drink and breastfeed at all.

I don’t drink at all. But I stopped a few years before falling pregnant with my daughter so I guess it doesn’t really count 😆

I will sip on wine while Im feeding little man, so theres plenty of time before the next feeding. I also will have a drink other times. I think if you're just having one drink, it's not going to be a problem.

there's never a need to pump and dump! the only reason you need to do that is for comfort for yourself. basically if you're sober enough to drive, you're sober enough to nurse!
