Keeping clean??

I'm 8 days post partum and have the water bottle that the hospital gave me to keep myself clean down there. I feel like the water bottle isn't keeping me clean and was wondering if there are any other ways to clean myself down there?? I don't want my stitches to get infected from all of the blood :(

Ask your ob about Sitz bath! 
Fill tub with like a inch of water just enough to sit in epsom salt and lavender-essential oil it will help you heal quicker and you will feel clean!

I loved using these to clean up and lay a few on my pad for some cooking relief (BTW didn’t have hemorrhoids but these still felt great and were gentle to wipe with)

You can dab with a babywipe or something else that won’t tear like toilet paper.  Just dab though don’t wipe as you could pull on your stitches.

I just stripped from the waist down and hopped in the shower.  I also bought one of those shower heads that can be hand-held so I could direct it to the area.  
This also explains why I mostly wore sweatpants and slippers during recovery - easy to get in/out of them.

Did your hospital give you a little thing to do a sits bath? You basically soak in warm water it helps heal your stitches and cleans them. It's a small tub thing you Place in the toilet

Your stitches won't get infected by your blood especially with rinsing. I never used more than the water bottle my 3 pregnancies  and never had an issue.

My best advice for keeping clean is maybe take some salt water and dump in on yourself while laying on your back
