Underwire bras??

Hi ladies! 
My daughter is 8 weeks and I have been exclusively breastfeeding (woohoo!!) I have been wearing non wired nursing bras but tonight I am going to a family party and would like to wear a ‘normal’ wired bra! I will be nursing at the party and have a nursing dress to wear but I have been told by a few people not to wear a wired bra while breast feeding! I’ve googled it and it says it can cause a blockage!! Is there any truth in this?? Has anybody experienced this??

I have wore underwire nursing bras the whole time I nursed for all 3 kids. My first I nursed the whole year, my second six months, and my baby is 7 months today and still nursing. I have never had any issues with blocked ducts.

I've also been told not to wear underwired bras while breastfeeding so I haven't. I do have one nursing bra that is just like a normal bra that I use when we go away. Maybe get one of those ?

It's recommended to stay away from underworld til your supply settles, but can't recall how long - more than 8 weeks I think. If your bra fits you well it should be fine for an evening. If it's too tight it might cause a problem.

I've heard that from many places. I used under wire bras almost the whole year while EBF. I had blocked ducts twice, but was able to unblock them pretty easily. I don't think they were cause by the bra. I say go for it!

I wear an underwire nursing bra and have been breastfeeding for 6 months and I have had no issues are all.
